indonesiabrief.com/ — DPD ARUN DKJ Committee Prepares for Its First Regional Conference and Public Dialogue: A Parade of National Figures Ready to Discuss the Road to Indonesia Emas 2045!

The call for change and the spirit of building Indonesia’s future echo from the heart of the capital city!

The Regional Leadership Council of Advokasi Rakyat Untuk Nusantara (ARUN) for the Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKJ) has officially announced the holding of its First Regional Conference (Musda I) and Public Dialogue, set to take place at Sofyan Hotel, Central Jakarta.

This prestigious event is expected to attract prominent national figures across sectors, social organizations, and regional government leaders, all coming together to formulate strategies for realizing Indonesia Emas 2045.

Not Just Another Conference, But a Historical Momentum

M. Deka Sapei, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, emphasized that this Musda is more than a routine organizational agenda.

“This is not just a formal forum. This is a major consolidation of people’s movements for strengthening the rule of law, democracy, and social justice,” he said passionately during the committee’s internal meeting.

Deka also confirmed the involvement of SS Budi Raharjo MM, Chairman of the Indonesian Digital Media Association (AMDI), who has been invited to moderate the Public Dialogue session. His presence is expected to add depth and participatory spirit to the discussion.

Leadership Inauguration: Professional, Proportional, and Responsive!

The event will also mark the inauguration of the newly structured DPD ARUN DKJ leadership board.

Paisal Sangadji, Chairman of DPD ARUN DKJ, stressed the importance of organizational regeneration and revitalization:

“We are building a structure that is more responsive to the needs of Jakarta’s people today,”
he stated.

Adding weight to the event, Dr. Bob Hasan, MH, Chairman of ARUN’s National Leadership (DPP) and also Chairman of the Legislative Body of the Indonesian Parliament (DPR RI), is scheduled to personally inaugurate the new board. His presence highlights the political and advocacy significance of this moment.

Public Dialogue: High-Level Discourse, New Directions for People’s Advocacy

The Public Dialogue is set to be a meeting ground for major ideas from national leaders and community figures.

Ichal Kottahatuhaha, board member of DPD ARUN DKJ, noted that the discussion will address key issues such as Jakarta’s legal complexities, widening social inequality, and the future direction of advocacy movements.

ARUN: A National Frontline Advocacy Organization

ARUN is no newcomer. With an established presence in 34 provinces, it has been a pillar for democracy and people’s rights advocacy.

Following successful regional conferences in Central Kalimantan, Lampung, Bali, North Sumatra, South Sulawesi, Gorontalo, and Central Java, it is now Jakarta’s turn to raise its voice loud and clear.

The First Regional Conference of DPD ARUN DKJ is expected to strengthen participatory advocacy networks, open doors for multi-stakeholder collaboration, and set strategic directions for safeguarding national agendas toward Indonesia Emas 2045.

One word: Spectacular!

Jakarta is gearing up to be the stage for a people’s movement. All eyes are on Sofyan Hotel.
